Travel news?
I got to the airport in Shenzhen 5 hours too early for my flight to
Thailand. Oops. Here’s the thing, the most affordable and mostly
convenient mode of travel across China is by train. The train from
Jiujiang to here is an overnight that departs at about 4pm. So I’m in
Shenzhen by dawn, 6am. A 45 minute bus ride from the train to the
airport and all I have left is time.
I did enjoy practicing more of my Chinese getting here and asking
questions. So there is that.
With a little more awareness I would have enjoyed a short walk around
Shenzhen before taking that bus to the airport. Next time, right?
